Named for the famous Philadelphia beer bar, this Flemish Burgundy, produced by Van Steenberge brewery, is an old brown style, aged in oak.  One of the oldest beers made by the brewery, it is produced with mixed fermentation (top and spontaneous) and aged in oak barrels to develop a refreshing flavor and classic piquancy. This mildly tart, sour ale is light-bodied with a lactic/sour nose and a bit of sweet and sour in the finish. Very refreshing!
