Sierra Nevada's Ovila Abbey Ales series is a collaboration with the monks of the Abbey of New Clairvaux in Vina, California. Each beer is a modern twist on a traditional Belgian-style Abbey ale - monastic inspiration and American innovation. The three Ovila Abbey Ales in this variety pack are influenced by the ingredients grown and harvested by the monks on their 600-acre farm.  Included in the mix pack are: Ovila Belgian-style Abbey Quad with Cherries, deep malt-forward flavors of dark fruit and cocoa combine with the bright cherry character for a rich and decadent take on the robust Belgian-style ale; Ovila Belgian-style Abbey  Brown with Mandarin Oranges and  Cocoa, a Belgian-style brown ale accented with cocoa & Abbey-grown mandarins and Ovila Belgian-style Abbey Saison with Sage, a classic take on a rustic ale with an herbal boost from the use of California white sage.
