Home Brewed Events and Eat Your PHL are proud to present S.E.E.D, the second annual vegan craft food and beer festival on August 13th 2017 from 2pm to 6pm at Sugarhouse Casino. The food and beer community in Philadelphia is one of the best in America and the time has come to feature the flourishing vegan food scene in the city. S.E.E.D, Sustainable Everyday Edibles and Drinkables, will be the area’s first fully vegan food and beer festival, an inclusive and sustainable experience that everyone can enjoy – vegans, vegetarians and omnivores alike.

A portion of the proceeds will benefit The Humane League of Philadelphia, working toward reducing animal suffering by inspiring change at all levels. Your general admission ticket will get you three hours of vegan food from some of Philadelphia’s best restaurants, as well as plenty of beer from over 25 breweries. Accompanying the food and beer will be a vegan marketplace with 25 vendors selling their best vegan goods. There will also be live music and a DJ as part of the entertainment for the soiree.

Pints in the Square Brew Fest and 5K

Newtown Square Neighbors is a non-profit organization whose mission is to actively support and enrich community spirit and local businesses, and to promote positive relationships within the Newtown Square community. Newtown Square Neighbors’ Inaugural Pints in the Square in September 2016 was a resounding success. Residents of Newtown Square and surrounding areas turned out in droves for a fabulous, fun day. More than 300 walkers and runners participated in the 5k and 500 beer lovers sampled products from more than 25 different craft brewers. In October were able to present a check for $25,000 to the Newtown Square Fire Company.

Newtown Beerfest is Newtown's premiere beer event presented to you by the Newtown Fire Association. The First Tap session is early admission from 12:30pm to 2pm. This ticket is $75 and includes a T-shirt, a ticket for a free food item and rare unique brews. General Admission is from 2pm to 5:30pm. This ticket is $45 and allows you to taste beer from over 80 breweries. They also offer a designated driver ticket. This ticket is $10 and allows you into the event, but no sampling is permitted. There will also be live music and local food vendors.

At Pour The Core: Philly, you and your friends will be surrounded by the picturesque fall backdrop of the Marine Parade Grounds and be showcased to the finest locally-produced and internationally-sourced ciders – more than 100 to sample! The event will feature local favorites like the artfully crafted, Wyndridge Hard Cider, Hardball Cider, Kurant Cider, and so many other PA favorites! Best-selling US brands like Woodchuck Hard Cider and Ace Cider will also be featured. And, a variety of imported ciders and perries from Spain, England and elsewhere will round out the varieties offered, such as Strongbow.
