Woodchuck Amber Hard Cider

Amber was the first style of cider produced under the Woodchuck label. It is made from a blend of apples and fermented with champagne yeast to produce a great tasting and refreshing product. Woodchuck Amber has a golden color, a medium light body, mild bitterness and a medium sweetness that is reminiscent of apple cider. This cider is crisp and pleasant in character with a concentrated apple finish.



Woodchuck Dark & Dry 802 Hard Cider

Like their Amber Cider, Dark & Dry 802 is made with a blend of apples and champagne yeast but caramelized sugar is added just before filtering to impart a deep bronze tone. Woodchuck Dark & Dry has a tawny brown color, a medium- light body, mild bitterness and a mild sweetness reminiscent of apple, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Well defined and quite tart on the palate with a mouthwatering, refreshing character. 



Woodchuck Granny Smith Hard Cider

E&J Gallo grew Hornsby’s into one of the top selling cider brands in the U.S. As Gallo is primarily a wine business, they sold Hornsby’s to C&C in 2011. In late 2012 C&C re-launched Hornsby’s giving it a new updated look and reformulated both the Crisp and Amber recipes to be more competitive in the growing segment.
